We have a formal rental agreement and require the following: a government issued photo ID (ex: driver’s license, state ID, or passport), current address, phone number and/or email address where you can be contacted if needed. We also require payment of the first month’s rent and a security deposit of $25.00 at the time of signing rental agreement.
We accept cash, check or money orders only.
Monday – Friday: 9:00am – Noon & 2:00pm – 5:00pm.
All rental agreements are month-to-month with a one-month minimum.
You can rent with us as long as you like.
We accept cash, checks & money orders. Payment can be made in person, deposited in our mail slot at the front door, or by mail to: Southtown Storage, PO Box 480, Lockport, NY 14095.
Rental is due the first day of each month.
Yes, you can rent a unit at any time during the month.
Any partial month’s rental is prorated to reflect the day the rental began.
Yes, each unit requires a lock. You provide your own lock and you keep the key.
At Southtown Storage, you’re the only one that has access to your unit. We do not sell locks.
If your payment is received after the 10th of the month a $10 late fee is added to your account and the gate will not activate until the account is settled.
Yes, provided the size you want is available, you can change your unit size at any time.
Just come into the office and we will help.
No, our units do not have any electrical outlets.
Yes, we ask that you provide us with a ten (10) day written notice before vacating.
Please be sure your lock is removed, the unit cleaned and swept out and that we have your current address so your security deposit can be returned. Locked units will continue to be charged rent.
The unit must be left broom clean with lock removed, and we must have your current address. Payment will be made within 30 days.
You are responsible for all goods stored at Southtown Storage Center. We do not insure your goods. Please be sure to get a renter’s insurance policy or check with your homeowner’s insurance to see if a rider is provided for your goods in storage.
We do not offer any discounts. Please check our rates against our competition.
You are not allowed to store any illegal or hazardous materials in your unit.
This includes, but is not limited to flammables, explosives, corrosives, or poisons.
Additionally, no food items are to be stored.
Southtown Storage Center offers outdoor parking for RVs, boats, cars and motorcycles.
